It was hotter than anticipated in late October. 28, 29, 30. There are lots of tiled areas which retain and magnify the heat in the shopping area it wad 35 one day! The area is well served by shops and restaurants. There is a medical centre, £120 to see a doc. I got heat exhaustion, I am usually fine in the heat and others were fine, I put it down to advancing years. I travelled alone and apart from a five days recovery from heat exhaustion I HAD A BRILLIANT TIME! It is perfect for kids the bay is man made, very safe and gently shelving. There is a big shopping centre nearby which I didn’t get to because of heat. Taxis cheap, people LOVELY! I experienced none of the sneering and prejudice I was subjected to in Majorca in 2024. The people are wonderful. I am returning in the spring. I think it is better to hire a car locally once you are unpacked because people who had hired cars direct from airport were stuck in a long queue to return the car to airport before their flight. Taxis are cheap. Hiperdino has everything you could possibly need or want.
Paradise. Not only took frequent holidays here I finished up living in Caleta late 90’s to mid 2000’s

Amazing place to visit, nice beach to sunbathe, lots of shops and restaurants, would highly recommend a visit hear.
Nice place, not too busy in the winter, lovely promenades and excellent views. An assortment of hotels hug the front interspersed with bars and restaurants. A fairly calm atmosphere
Lovely small town, we would definitely come back with my husband when it's a bit warmer. The town hosts everything you need on a holiday and 2km away you can find Ikea and Lidl. Buses stop frequently on the way to the airport and Puerto Rosario. I felt very safe in this area and we loved walking around and trying all the different restaurants.
